I've got a 91' 325i Spec E30 race car that I bought last fall. It has been setup with rear toe and camber adjusters, but they don't like to stay in place, and the toe range only goes from 1/4" toe out to 3/4" toe out total. I did a string alignment, and found that both sides are toe'd out 3mm at the furthest in adjustment. I purchased Ireland's locking toe adjusters, that I'm going to weld on.
Can I move them in/out so I can get my adjustment to the right range?
How far do I move them?
Which direction do I move them when I weld them on?
Any help would be greatly appreciated, as I don't want to weld them, reinstall the entire rear suspension, and it still not be able to get me to 18" toe in total.
