Sorry to bump a thread (and sorry to contradict you Z31 ;)), but I think this is a common misconception--offset CABs, when installed correctly, actually reduce the front track width, and thus reduce camber (or rather add positive camber)--their main purpose is to increase caster.
The idea of the offset CABs is that by moving the rearward pivot point of the LCA outward and keeping the subframe (middle) pivot point stationary, you sweep the spindle ball joint towards the front of the car and towards the centerline of the car (forwards and inwards). The effects are twofold: increased caster and decreased camber. Personally I am a huge fan of caster and don't see why anyone wouldn't do this, as the extra caster far outweighs the small negative camber loss.

Well your tires are undersized. So that makes up for some of the look. But the Plates should have a shorter stack height than stock FSM. Also make sure your springs are sitting on the pads/perches correctly.Leave a comment:

Turn the bearing plates around 180*, they are offset to one side from center.Leave a comment:

I've got Bridgestone Potenza RE-01 R's in 195/50/15
There is a chance I could have effed something up during install. I followed the protocol outlined in the Bentley, but with springs being so much shorter and no install instructions for the camber plates I could have missed or overlooked something.Leave a comment:

Hmm. . . What size tires are you running? I have H&R race with Bil' Sports and my front appears to be quite a bit lower, and i have stock FSM.Leave a comment:

Here are pics of the plates installed:

Keep in mind that the rears are still stock.
I forgot to mention that I also have the m3 offset CABs. Regarding the post prior, are your plates the SpecE30 ones and what kind of strut/chassis issues do you speculate might be going on?
Thanks again!Leave a comment:

E turd, -1 would be pretty damn safe. Rotate your tires and you'll be fine.Leave a comment:

You have chassis/strut issues then.
My car with M3 cabs and the GC plates set at around 1.25° were at -2.5° camber on the machine.
M3 or offset CABS, will give you additional camber.Leave a comment:

This post makes no sense at all. Are you adding camber plates to set the camber to 0 or are you trying to get as much camber as possible?
"I read that some cutting might have to be done to get less negative camber " and "I had the tech remove two allen screws from each plate to max out camber adjustment, but I'd like to be able to run all of the screws if possible and even with the screws out, the passenger front side camber is still out of factory spec. "
I had billy sports with gc camber plates with stiffer rates than the h&r race springs + gc plates and had the camber at about -2 and my tire wear was pretty damn even with rt615s.
My bad. Poor knowledge of tech speak on my part. By "maxed out" I meant that in an effort to get as close to -0.7 (factory spec) camber, I have run out of plate travel. The allen screws are hitting the edge of the strut tower opening. I know that the factory spec is not necessarily the thing to strive for so I am hoping to hear what others suggest as being a good medium for performance without a ton of premature tire wear. Sorry again for any confusion and thanks for your contribution. :DLeave a comment:

I'd be happy to snap some pics, but the rear isn't done yet. Let me know and I'll out and get some.Leave a comment:
