...and why not!!? There is probably 1.5-2.0 deg camber now. Keep in mind these are new but cheap 14 in tires and have a very block tread
Tire are designed around alott of issues including HARMONICs.
So when I'm traveling at high speeds you can't hear it I can go 60mph cut the engine off on a straight/smooth road and can hear it but can't feal it

Yes thats what I was thinking the noise may have been there before the Installation and now the rear flexed down an inch putting more stress on the control arm bushings hense amplifing the noise to where it's noticeableLeave a comment:

I had no noise in the back end fo mine either
completely rebuilt the front, and put new springs and billy sports all around, adn rear shock mounts

but in your case.....I too suspect a wheel bearing since you said it was a rotational noise, and increases with speed like a rock in a tire. the test desribed above will help deterine wheel bearings, for me , cv joints are more of a visible , hands on and rock it thing

If you are talking about the possibility of the rear wheel bearing going bad then here is a suggestion. When going down the road swerve to the left and right and if the noise increases on one side or the other. If it does than it may be the wheel bearing. You can also jack the car up and try to wiggle the tire to verify the condition of the wheel bearing.
When you put in the shocks I assume that you replaced the upper shock mounts as well, if not, I had a clunking noise that went away after I replaced the rear upper shock mounts.
If the axle is rubbing you should be able to see the rub marks on the rear sub frame. If I see what looks like a rub mark I put a little paint or white lithium grease on it drive the car and then check if it is an old rub or a new one. Hope this helps.

I swapped tires around to make sure I didn't have a bad tire. I also thought that I may be hearing the harmonics from the inside tread since there is more camber now. I can't believe nobody has had this trouble before. What the hell. !!!Leave a comment:

Live near Greenville nc. You can hear the noise, but can't feel it. Main road was just paved and it is smooth as a pool table. Sounds like a nail in the tire. I did swap tires and no difference. May have a bearing going bad. Noise is very noticeable in rear but seems like it's coming from the drivers rear.Leave a comment:
