I replaced the cartriges in my struts about 2 months ago, and now have a strange tinkling noise in the pass front end. Sure enough the strut mount has taken a shit. I checked the mounts when I did the struts, and they were OK then.
I post this mostly as a lesson to those that want to go on the cheap. these freaking things can shit on you with little to no warning. I now have a DD that is down for parts for at least a couple of days, and I need to rent the damn spring compressor again. all because I cheaped out and didnt replace a 35 dollar part while it was apart.
