I've searched (w/in the last month or so) and read on the set up, most seem happy with it, though some consider it too soft (not an issue for me - just a DD), but the question is this:
How many miles have those with this combo racked up? I saw one that had around 40K miles, but all the other threads seemed to be posted right after install.
I wonder because the vogtlands are a 1.5 drop on an es - and since an es should be about a 1/2" shorter than standard "e" that would be 2", usually too much for most "replacement" struts.
Kyb tech said the GR2's would be ok on a 1-1.2" drop, and I blew out some KYBs on my 320i on a 2" drop - thus the paranoia....
If a bunch of you post up that you've got 40K plus miles and no issues, I'm going KYB as I'd put the savings towards a couple other maintenance items (when it rains it pours...). If y'all post up that they blew after two years I'll choke and get the bil-sports.
