My E30 has a GC coilover conversion kit in it, built for a 318ti.. because I used e36 front strut housings in my 5 lug swap.. the chassis was basically a 318ti.
I have the rear spring adjusters adjusted all the way up.. and the car is sitting VERY low. I want to take advantage of the adjustability and be able to move the ride height back up almost to stock for winter weather and snow tires, so I was thinking of getting another set of rear coils.
I need to get under there and take some measurments, I dont know what the rate and length is but they are 2.5" non barrel springs.. and the kit I bought now shows barrel springs http://www.ground-control-store.com/.../II=123/CA=246
What is a good rear spring rate for track use and daily driving.? 600 lb? Its pretty hard as it is.. I dont mind a harsh ride on the street I think my coils out back are about 5-6" tall at the moment.. Ill have to check like I said
