Chop a coil off, repeat as necessary.

Don't cut the rears because they absolutely will not sit right if you do.

Buy used, you'll get about the same when you sell them.

    Anyone Cut Their Stock Springs?

i searched and couldn't find anything relevant.
i am redoing my suspension currently and want to cut a coil off the front springs to get rid of the 4x4 look a little.
my question is how many coils equals how much drop? i am thinking of just one coil but i don't want to drop it too much as i am running stock spec struts. anyone know? a general rule of thumb would be one coil for 1" but not sure.
