So to calculate wheel rate we use .88 x spring rate for fronts and .45 x spring rate for rear. I'm running 500f 800r which gives me 440f 350r. Shouldn't I be running 1000r to give me 450r wheel rate? Vert's are heavier in the rear by a couple hundred lbs I would guess. Also have dual 8's, two amps, and a couple jugs of oil/coolant in the trunk.
Shouldn't the wheel rates be the same front to rear? It definitely feels softer in rear going over bumps/dips. What would happen if I ran too stiff a rear spring? Car is my DD but I don't mind the ride, drive a truck for work that rides worse, thanks.
