So i'm looking to purchase coilovers for my touring within the next few months. I was gonna go with the GC street touring kit as i'm not looking to weld the perches. The main reason i'm looking for a coilover setup is so i can adjust ride height. I'm in Germany and i have to comply with yearly vehicle inspections so if i just lowered the car with springs i'd fail.
For anyone that's lowered a touring or know a lot about them, will this kit work for sure with the car? I know it's marketed for the sedan/coupe so i'd like to make sure everything on the touring is the same so everything will be compatible. As far as i know they use 51mm front struts so it should work. Was reading that it would be a good idea to get rear shock mounts as well, again will these work fine on a touring and what would be the benefit of purchasing these.
Sorry for the overall noob questions but this is my first E30 so i'm still learning. Never done suspension work on previous cars so my ignorance is showing. The kit i'm referring to is in the link below. If anyone has any other recommendations as far as kits go please feel free to share. Main criteria is that it is a bolt on type kit and has adjustable ride height. Thanks!
