I have a 91 318is that I drive daily and an 88 325is that is used as a parts car. The motor in the 318is is pretty much worn out and the engine in 88 is very strong. Recently rebuilt head with mild performance cam. So, I'll be swapping engines within the next few months. At some point, I'd also like to go with a Z3 rack. So, my question is, which steering column should I go with? The newer airbag one or the older one? Also, I definately want to use the Mtech steering wheel from the 88 and not the one with the air bag if that makes a difference in what rack to use.
