Will airbag pedal box work with non-airbag steering column?

Hi,
I just got a non-airbag steering column and I am planning to install it in my airbag E30.
Some threads on the forum say that pedal assemblies are different between the airbag and non-airbag cars.
My question is, will I need to buy pedal box from a non-airbag car to complete the install?
