good explanation jay.. i think you guys need more of a presence on this and other e30 forums to dispell some of the "bad customer support" stories going around as well. I've called GC several times and actually spoken with Jay once or twice. They've always been very helpful. Keep it up!

i dont think you should give erik such a hard time about this, yes he gave information against your product (incorrect or not) but he didnt issue a mandate for all to buy vorshlag. And ive visited your website once or twice and havent ever read anything about a free camber plate bracket, and unless i knew it existed and was searching specifically for it i doubt i would find it so it is unfair for you to be angry that he didnt know it was there.

a simple post with the facts would have been fine, whether you meant it too or not your post came off as a bit of a personal attack on him. He even apologized to you and rather than accept his apology you cut him down again. Not a good way to deal with people imo.

edit: to business, i have a question. In your pictures you have the deck height measured using GC plates and GC upper perches, as well as Vorsh plates and upper perches right? are your perches compatible with their plates? if so what is that deck height?

Awesome response, sure beats an Umnitza vendor rant on bf.c.

Jay, you helped me out with my E30 conversion kit about 5.5 years ago; I have put around 120,000mi on it without a single issue. I never bothered with the plates (daily driver, not a fan of the NVH), but I'm glad to hear they are a competitive offering.

Hope to see you around on R3VLimited for some time to come.

Yeah, not sure if you drop shipped for distributors or if he picked up and then shipped, but that would have been my order. I look forward to getting the GC's back in and actually taking care of those bearings unlike the PO. That thread on bf.c was out of control. Oh well. Badtalking is easier than maintaining parts properly, unfortunately.

The most striking part of the story was the great service that you guys had to replace that damaged part at no cost to him. Very hard to see nowadays and I applaud the effort.

He's a board member, so if he wants to come forward and further explain it, I'll let him step up.

And that's my contribution to this thread.

Glad to see you on here Jay!

Love your E30 Coilover Conversion Kit...I can't wait to finish it off by having my struts cut and new perches welded. ;)

Good info on here...but I still like my Vorshlag plates as well :)

    I hope you become a sponsor:-D

The plates in the pic ARE the old ones. I assembled them exactly as they would be in 2000-2004.

The new ones are not pictured until we become a vendor.

If you take the plates off of your cars, you will get the exact same pictures as me

I wish you would have looked closer beforehand.

    Thanks, Jay
