Time for a complete suspension overhaul

So the time has come for me to redo the suspension on my 86 325ES. The car has an LS6/T56 in it, and i just recently got done redoing the entire interior. Only thing left is the suspension. What started out as a "quick and easy" saturday project went south. I was removing the old KYB shocks and Vogland springs i got off ebay back in 2006-2007. I got a set of IE3's from someone on here, but im not entirely sure they are stage 3's because of how soft they seem and numbers dont match the IE site?. reguardless, as the car came apart, it became clear to me that i was in for more than a spring swap that day. After getting the ball joints loose, i found how worn they are. Time for control arms. Next, i got the springs off and realized that the shocks are so old and worn out, that they cant even hold themselves up any more. The next step was to get the shocks out to replace them... no dice!!! The retaining nut that holds that cartridge in had rusted so bad that its not going to come out in good enough condition to go back in. So i have decided to do it all. Control arms, hubs, wheel stud conversion and pads and rotors all around. So here is where i need the help of the R3V gurus:
    • I am not scared to spend some money on the suspension... within reason.
    • I would like to put a set of coil overs on the car, i.e. BC or ISC (I can get dealer pricing for them so its worth while)
    • I do not want to slam the car to the ground, so im looking for something that allows me to lower it, keep the ride sporty but not drag every pebble. im not concerned about comfort all that much. The car already has a huge cam, with poly engine trans and dual poly diff mounts. Its already kind of harsh, so im ok with that. That was my intention when i built it. If i want a smooth cushy ride, i take my suburban out :)
    • I am concerned about adjusting the car, i would like to corner balance it, and i will be taking my time to dial in the ride height to ascetically pleasing
    • Car is on 17's with 205/45/17's, if i can, i would consider going to a 215/50 so get some more sidewall out of the front. i will be rolling the fenders during all of this as well.
So i guess im asking for suggestions on a middle of the road coilover setup that will still leave a little bit of ride height on the table, if that is even a thing with these cars. Any and all info and opinions are appreciated, Thanks! i would like to stay around the $900-1000 mark.
