So far though, a 16x8 weave is on the table?

I Think 16's are for the most part too small far E30's.
But alot of people think 17's are toobig for E30's.
I personally love my 17 inch kosei k1's.

I'd rock a wide bottlecap over another weave, if I want wide weaves I'll go with ESM or Konig.

konig remembers are pretty close minus the centerbore difference, although not 16x8 (as you know).

i think 16x8 alpina reps would be a good compromise.

    -Where are they made (China?)
-How are they made (cast, forged, billet, etc)
    -Any warranty?
-Nice to have: other bits of MFG info (stress testing, alloy details, etc.)

BTW I remember 1552 v1 and dig what you guys did... Jetta coupe, Mk3 VR cabby, koenigseder WB, etc, etc. I'm a big fan! :-D
They are made in Taiwan just like 99% of all wheels
    Low pressure cast
    Warranty on the finish
I can check on the mfg details

I second that. I still have my "Project X" shirt that I wear occasionally...

What's already been said a thousand times: good offset 16x8 weaves with a slight dish. Bigger bottlecaps would certainly be interesting, but I doubt it'd be interesting enough to spend money on.

These wheels in 16x8 on a standard E30, in 4x100 fitment would be a dream come true for TONS of E30 owners, way more so than a 15x8 bottlecap. Give them about a 1-1.5" lip, and they would be absolutely perfect.
