17" style 42s on a 5 lug E30?

Yea, it seems my options are somewhat questionable knockoffs, (even seen alpina ones...wtf), stickers, or modifying expensive originals...:|

generally, only bmw center caps fit bmw wheels directly. most people modify bbs caps or just put the stickers on.

Does anyone know if or where to get bbs center caps for style 42s? There 70mm outer diameter like an RS. But the back clips look different. There "flush" with the outer diameter, like a 56mm RA cap. The recessed 3 clip bbs RS cap doesn't look like it will work from pictures. anyone know for sure?

Yup, had mine done about middle of this year, seaside bronze powdercoated, and polished barrels.

I didn't actually build the truck, I knew the guy and when he was parting with it I scooped it up. Actually traded a clean 00 323ci 5sp e46 for it. I do have alota pics and knowledge about the build tho. I think maybe I should just start another tread? Here's a few pics

Just mounted, the wheel offset is 25. 20mm adapters. 205/40/17 tire. Fits perfect.8-)

I have a set of 18x9 style 42's on my e39 and was considering swapping them to the e30 to see what bimmer donk would look like. Lol
