Yeah that was my concern after seeing a pic of someone who had them done. I guess a shitty shop did it for him? Also, since the 4x100 pattern interfered with the existing pattern, they put rings in place to reinforce it.
Thanks guys, I think i'm going to buy them and see what happens. I'm getting them for such a good deal that i'd be stupid to let these slip -
Yeah and believe me (owner of the hackjob wheels ;) ) pay the money to have it done RIGHT. And I'd see if they have any pictures of their work for you to see before you have it done. I just learned this lesson, shame if you have to alsoLeave a comment:

Here is a set like mine- http://www.r3vlimited.com/board/showthread.php?t=195319
A good shop would charge around $100 bucks a wheel. There are places where they do it for cheaper but most of the time its half-ass redrills (rings/ not filled/ etc.)Leave a comment:

Where in the NY/NJ/Pa area can wheels be professionally filled and redrilled? And at what cost?Leave a comment:

I've always been curious if they would be track safe, or if a ring of sorts could be welded to reinforce the hub bore areaLeave a comment:

YES you can. This is not an internet "yes" or "maybe". Make sure you have a shop with a good reputation do the work since it needs to be done RIGHT.Leave a comment:

My wheels are filled and redrilled style 5's off the e34. Its possible but you have to take it too a professional shop and make sure you tell them exactly what you want.Leave a comment:

Don't think you can do the e39 wheels, I'm pretty sure the larger center bore interferes with the lug pattern.Leave a comment:

@ Pantless Spency; style 5 17x8, 3 piece are from the e39s and style 5 16x8, 1 piece are from e38s. The one hackjob you are refering to is for the e38 style 5s.Leave a comment:
