How do you like the tires? I really want 215/45/16s and those are one of the only choices. Any good in the rain? They have a defined "inside" and "outside" right?

    Looks good, nice and clean.
This was last year before the body work, exterior paint and S52:

Modernlines are best wheel ever. Cut springs, remove spring pads, get taller sidewalled tires until they fit if it were me.

Oddly it settled a tad after I drove it down my driveway. It's sitting a little lower and the stance is looking a bit better but I think I need to drop the front a little bit more. Maybe cut a coil on my front springs or get some drop hats or some shit like that.

I do miss my Ronals though. Change is hard...will you hold my hand?

started a topic Schmidt Revolution Modern Line

    Schmidt Revolution Modern Line

I opted for the 16" Modern Line staggered setup from Tunershop (very good company to deal with.) Fronts are 7.5" ET25 and rears are 9.0" ET15. Tires are Falken Azenis RT-615K 215/45/16 on all four corners. Suspension is Bilsteins with IE3 Race springs.

I took off my beloved Ronal LS mesh wheels and I mounted the Modern Lines tonight and I'm not initially happy with the fitment or look.

It's a combination of the rears poking a bit, the rear tire sidewall stretch is mexicali ghetto, all tires seem to be undersized and my suspension doesn't seem low enough to pull these off (New England roads are rough so I don't want to go much lower since my E34 oil pan is already very low.)

I dropped some decent coin on this setup and now I want to go back to my Ronal LS wheels. I can't run my Ronal's since they won't clear the UUC BBK that's on the way.

Note: I also have TRMotorsport C1's with Hankook RS3 225/45/15 for track days so this Schmidt setup is a street setup.

What do people think? Should I rock them as is, get meatier tires, or go lower and risk breaking my oil pan?

    Shitty night shots:

Working...
