Old bump, for new peeps looking to have this done. Had mine for, maybe 4 years, no extra material in middle. Never an issue -
I can have them done cheaply or really nice depending on your budget. My girl works at AAA costa mesa so you could drop them off there.
Cheap

Not so cheap

What I have found out is they don't do the work themselves technically, but send the wheels out somewhere. It's still quality, but cust. service sucks and they don't keep their word on "when will my wheels be ready?" question.
You have to be thorough, to Jose or Juan or whatever his name is on what you need done. Make sure you tell him don't touch the center bore.Leave a comment:

Ok it's been a few months now, has LAX got their shit together yet? I was about to call them up before I found this thread.
And what's up with this place?
The website takes you to motorsports tech, which is way further then I'm willing to drive.Inland Wheels center in San Bernardino.

It sucks that this is such a hassle as well as the fact that this place is across the countryLeave a comment:

Oh so they are filling the bore after all and than drilling it to the right size. Copy that..........
You will need an 8 to 10mm spacer in the front to clear the caliper brackets.
Or shave the bracket down 5-8mm.Leave a comment:

the shop that i sent them to hasn't received them yet. but i did communicate with them yesterday and asked what was the center bore for E30s (to test the knowledge) that they would drill to and he said 57.1mm. a little reassuring..Leave a comment:

Was the bore filled at all? What is the bore diameter now? Is it untouched or has been altered?so, just so i'm clear (i bought these a few days ago)
- the center bore will need to be drilled to exactly 57.1mm and will fit without a spacer at all?
- no ring required?
Also, i plan on not running the center cap; i want my centers to be smoothed and in doing so the shop said i'd lose it. i like them better without the cap anyway.Leave a comment:
