My e30 last winter with 175 width snow tires, 6 degrees of camber and 300ft/lbs of torque barely spun tire if I floored it in second gear. Idk what the hell you're doing.

I can understand you asking this question because you're curious.

But I honestly can not wrap my head around how you think 10in tires on there would look good. I won't argue that functionality and fuel economy drops; people put subs in there cars and turbo them. Having that wide of wheels just murders everything that looks good about an E30 IMO.

So in the answer to your question, is there anything wrong this idea: Yes, everything. You will not be gaining anything other than a look preferred by you, and the driving dynamics will suffer.

i dont know the offset. i have never seen these rims before. here are some pics. also the offset is very weird. i needed spacers to clear the struts and shocks. though the size spacer i got was a bit overkill. here are some pics

secondly, you put 2" spacers on 8" wheels and you dont rub? what offset are teh wheels?

I think everyone agrees with that.

I could spin 30 treadwear tires in 2nd with a simple m30.... fwiw.

My m10 could spin 205 rt615s like it was nobody's business.

I was spinning 245 t1r's half way through 2nd at the track, though not a drag strip which makes a big difference. Honestly, without major fender cutting and flairs you will never fit a proper width tire on a 10" wheel.
