    Basketweaves - A Visual Comparison (14" iS, 15" iX, 15" Euro) - Style 5 BBS RS

    Hey R3Vers!

    Since I have a full set of 14" iS Basketweaves, 15" iX Basketweaves, and now 15" Euroweaves, I decided to take some comparison shots for your benefit.



    Some key spots to notice:
    -Convex faces on iS and iX vs flat faces on Euro.
    -Different lip sizes for each type
    -Different shape and depth of centers (normally under the caps)

    Thanks for the pics and info, the difference in lip is much more apparent than I thought before. I'll probably end up with a set of euroweaves for my next wheels.

        Very informative. This is sticky worthy, IMO. Too many people get the wheels mixed up. I honestly didn't know the difference until now. +1

              Have the iX ones. Is there a coating on these wheels or is it just polished? Any tricks to cleaning them without damaging other than massive elbow grease?

                I believe there is paint & clearcoat on them from the factory. The lips on my euroweaves certainly don't tarnish like raw aluminum wheels.

                I've found that a wheel-specific brush can help. I usually just take a microfiber cloth with normal car soap and some sore fingers.

                I've tried one of those iron-reactive wheel cleaners on other vehicles with success. Will have to give it a try on my Euroweaves.
