Well thanks for all your help... I am going to retract my statements and switch to a 15 or 16" rim and get a little nicer of a wheel while im at it..

Im looking at some Rota's and I have it down to the Rota Track R in gunmetal or the GT3 in gunmetal.. what do you guys think?

The Track R's have alot more offset choices +25 is making me sway towards them..

15x7 et25 with 225/50/15's with rolled rear fenders, looks good and handles good, you worry less about bending a wheel and/or curbing a wheel.

And Ah i dont mean to add more headache but these rims are available in 15,16,17 should i stick with the 17 or try something different
With 17x7's stick with a 215/40/17, next size up would be 235/40/17's, those would look goofy on a 7" rim.

It's up to you what diameter you want to run, smaller will give you more sidewall.

Not feeling that wheel you posted though.

yer off. higher offset DOES mean that the tires will be further IN from the fender lip, HOWEVER now the tires are closer to the struts and will rub or even hit on the inside. the proper way to run wider tires is to run a lil bit LOWER offset, and then roll your fender lips to make more clearance on the OUTSIDE.

The wheels with 205/50/15's will still stick out about 3/4" and the rear will get cut by the lip that the fender has. To eliminate this, you will have to roll that lip, and have your fenders pulled out a little so that they are able to fully clear the tire. In the front you will have to trim the front of the wheel well just a hair. I want stiffer suspension so that there is no more body roll which adds to the rubbing...hope that helps

I rolled my fenders, but not pulled them and it rubs with anyone in the back seat, so I took mine out. To pull this off, you need to roll and pull the fenders in the rear and possibly stiffer suspension all around. I rubbed the front hard once on a round-a-bout turn and feel that I should invest in coils.

I still have the HREs. One of them is cracked however and there is a flat spot... I havnt decided what I am going to do with them yet.

What do you guys think? Because I am mounting them tomorrow morning and id like some opinions before I actually OWN these wheels

Would I be able to run a wider tire with the 40mm offset??

OR.... a higher profile tire to maybe prevent another cracked rim??
