you should have your girl ask other moms if driving a stick while being preggo / with a toddler in the car sounds like a pleasant experience... my guess is that it's not.
regardless of how much bigger a five series is vs an e30 they're still just cars. there's a reason you see so many moms / housewives with SUVs / minivans - they're super convenient. try lugging a stroller in/out of a sedan (even a wagon) and you'll quickly see what i'm talking about.
you're having a kid and unfortunately that means hunkering down and adding a boring slushbox car to the stable. that doesn't mean you can't have fun cars, but you have to at least have something reasonable, nowudimeang?
