I don't really consider their "race track" to be of race track quality. Pretty bumpy if you ask me.
... and since when do they follow rules anyways?

Really exciting episode! It has been a while since the last season. I was very excited to see STIG's face, however the FXX shouldn't stay on the top - the rules are if it can't go over a speed bump it shouldn't be there I remember they had that issue with the Gumpert Apollo but that beast has some hydrolics so it still qualifies. Not to mention the adventures of the "Black Shadow"

That was a reference to a movie called "The Great Escape". Do not pass go, do not collect $200, See this movie. It's long, and old, but it has Steve McQueen in it. It's set in WWII Germany, in a POW camp. Steve McQueen plays an American who breaks out as much as possible, and generally causes as much trouble as possible for the Gerrys. Whenever he would do something wrong or get caught on the wrong side of the wire, they would stick him in solitary confinement, or "The Cooler". Hence, the horrid German accent, "Cooolah, tree veeks."
Hilarious.

I have a hard time believing The Stig is Schumi, too, but I DO believe that he would be the only one to drive the FXX. I stayed away from this thread and just watched it, and when I saw the FXX, I was telling my wife that Schumi helped to make that car. Sure enough, he throttles the car about the twig and berries for 1:10 (!!), and pops out the other side as the driver. Duh.

i have now watched it 3 times. thats how much i missed top gear. cant wait to see what happens next week with the Stig. also lets not forget about the black Stig and his return, as seen here.

^^^^ i have been told that it is street legal. but Ferrari is not letting the owners keep the cars due to them not wanting them reverse engineered. much like their f1 cars they sell.

Do not quote me on that I have just heard that through one of my good Ferrari obsessed friends. anyone know for sure

I found the Stig thing pretty entertaining. But obviously a hoax.

And FXX: wow. Although I don't think that car can go on the power lap board as I don't think the car is street legal (which are TG's standards for it)

I don't think that was the real stig. he looked pretty lost out there on the test track.
