I dont get it either, but I like it. I think its along the same lines as an abstract painting. Individuality.

You know what's great, I've seen 4 of that same "brokestatus" plate on watercooled VWs in the central ohio area alone.

I think you strip your panel to bare metal.
Then spray a vinegar/water mix on it and its suppose to rust within like an hour or so.
Depending on how you apply it to your panel if it be a spray bottle, rag, bucket, etc. Its suppose to make a different pattern or effect.
I dunno from reading around thats how I understand it...

I have a rusted hood but not by choice. I had it down to bar metal after I found all the bondo. I let the car sit out side and it started rusting. It looks like a piece of shit.
