I actually preferred how they still kept the trapezoidal design, with the abstract slanted lenses. It at least kept it somewhat angular and understated. It seems the new style is to make the lights on the car some sort of jewelry to make up for the fact that every damn car around has the same shape.

I think what Bangle was thinking with his cars was to take the standard egg and throw on some bling with the Dame Edna headlights and creases all over as an attempt to differentiate BMWs from Pontiacs and Camrys. The problem is Acura figured out how to make a car actually look different with simple features.

personally i like the last generations tails and i think itd be sweet if they retro'd it a little
