I guess this is a good time to post my e30 that in fall 08. I think the battery cable was smashed and shorted out next to the carpet. Once one of these fire starts its nearly impossible to stop it in time; the interior is all fuel.

and you could not put it out? doesn't seam like that big of a fire to stomp out. seams like you should have smelled it before it got to the point of no return... maybe im wrong. i saw a burning car this weekend. no fun.
