its funny how once i post this up and make a call to a PD, I get something from him.

He sent me my $150, but not the money as he promised for shipping. I replied and asked about the shipping money and he said that he would pay me once he got the Wii and knew how much it cost.

Im updating this thread so that we have record of what is happening, that way nothing is added later on.

On Monday (22Feb2010) He contacted me, and said that he would go to the bank, trasnfer some money into his checking account and send me the $ back via paypal and cover the shipping back to him to resolve this whole issue.

I contacted him mid week to see whats up and he replied saying that it takes a few days to clear in the bank.

Its now friday and after a few calls and attempts to get a hold of him, NOTHING. no paypal, no reply to text or to phone call. sending out emails later on today.

Also for the record, i have called the local PD and told them that he contacted me and asked them not to take any measures yet, however if I dont have something by the end of today (Friday 26Feb2010) Im calling back to his local PD and getting the ball rolling again.

I haven't dealt with the guy, don't know him personally, but have to agree (transactions with who ever), the transactions here on r3v (for me at least) are mostly based on good faith and trust (unless you know the dude). Simple communications go a long way! Just a common courtesy when dealing with other peoples money. Perhaps I speak for myself, but also a matter of personal pride??

This is exactly the point. One asshole doing this to a group of people really injures the trust people will be willing to walk into a transaction with, and that's just bad for bid'niss. Thanks a lot. Prick.

You will never win posting back!!!! Hell I sell items that take 2-4 weeks to make and ship and have sold 1000's of items to members on here and still get bashed over an order here and there because of delayed or screw ups on our end.


You are talking 3-5 orders in a month period that you had in your hands to ship.
