Mileage seems a bit unrealistic to me. In transport alone they should about 33 plus unless they did not connect the odo's until they were sold in UK.
Incredible find but darn all the seals must be darn near useless.
Jealous hell yes. I'm happy with my too basketcases!

exactly-- thats your 2 cents. I personally prefer to drive my M3 3 to 4 times a year about 200-300 miles- I get a ton of pleasure out of just checking it out- and thats only a few times a year too--- some things are just to nice to abuse/use
but thats why those cars are "perfect" and the average e30 looks like a crappy rusty box.
hats off to that guy for having the balls to just store them away-- so little mileage would be way to hard for me.Leave a comment:

If I had 2 brand new EVOs in my garage I'd make sure that at least I store them properlyLeave a comment:

i learned of a person who kept a cabrio in a garage for 15 years, and had 20k on it, when they went to sell it, my friend opened the drivers door, and found a family of RATS living in it.
a shame.
and
what about normail maintenence.
tires must have flat spots like no-other
oil must still be changed, and that includes trans and diff.
a/c should be used (but maybe its not on the m3's)
its a great find, but sad.
it should be a happy day when the owner changes to their 15 y.o. daughter and she gives the keys to her b.f. b/c she cant drive a 5speed.Leave a comment:

How the fuck does someone "forget" that they had 2 EVO's, and a Ford RS???

I'd give em a set of Hoosiers and take them to the nearest track day.Leave a comment:

Like stated I'd just drive one of them and keep the lower mileage one in the garage.Leave a comment:

If I had the kinda money it takes to buy these then I would just have an extra room built onto my house and put them in a car show like display with a big ass flat screen in the middle and a lazy boy. Then just sit there everyday and enjoy the view.This. At this point, they're expensive artwork. Artwork that stares at you every day, taunting you. Begging you to use it for what it was made for. It looks at you and says 'please, just take me out! I haven't moved in 20 years'. And every day you will have to fight the urge to fire that bitch up and tear up the roads.
It'd be hell. I couldn't do it, no way. If I'm going to buy a collector/investment car, it'd better be one I have no interest in driving so I'm not tempted to.Leave a comment:

Poor car. That's the equivalent to having a kid and then locking them in a closet. It's like...car abuse.Leave a comment:
