when I most recently took the e30 to the shop, I had taken the lip off. Didn't stop the imbecile from tearing off the OIL PAN:roll:

So that's what happened...

And yeah, the car will be getting a plate before it's driven too long.

And regarding the OP, first time I lowered the car and took it to get an alignment they ripped the lip off, shodily put it back on (so it was hanging loose), and didn't tell me.

I'd be more pissed if I didn't lose it entirely the next day at a Carl's Jr. parking lot. But that's how you learn to drive your car differently after dropping it 2 inches.

only thing wrong with plates is if your pulling up like an allignment rack and pan scrapes and breaks, a plate will probably stop car. I always throw some boards down and pull up.
