This is the car that started it all for me. It was all downhill from there.

When i bought my first e30. That is the very first e30 i found that was done up. I was like wow! You can make these cars look like that? All i knew was that i bought some boxy german car from the 80's.

Let me guess. Andrew needed to push in the firewall for the M30 swap, and instead of hammering it, he constructed all that bracing and used an hydraulic press to push it in?

Same here. I remember finding that car on BEN and being like 'that's it, I love my car. I'm never leaving e30s.' That and Ove Kvam's super clean 318iS from Norway.
