Not entirely true. My car is an utter POS, paint mismatched and what not, and it was still broken into. I even had my 280z broken rummaged through and that thing literally had a tach, steering wheel and two seats, No dash or console and nothing of value. Don't think your safe just because you drive a POS miscreants just take that to mean no alarm :???:

Lucky you, I was considering getting studs too...

    Damn that sucks.

Last year I had a project e39 M5, I let it sit in my driveway for about 8 hours one night and came out the next day to find that someone had taken a pliers and crimped all four fenders and yanked up on them. I almost shot myself in the face...

You guys are making me feel uneasy. I usually park in the street.. or half way into my driveway since it's usually taken up and my car is the "least valuable" in the family.

Somebody did the same thing to my IX this winter... Pisses me off.

I live in a "Historical" neighborhood, but theres a rental across the road from my house and the people who own it rent out to the scum of the earth, who then go about increasing crime in the area.

My house has had 3 attempted break inns from the tenants, they've broken into our cars and our neighbors cars countless times (last time they did over $1500 dollars in damage to our tahoe for a $199 dollar GPS).

Sorry to jack the thread, but i this pisses me off and i needed to rant about something after my damn e36 broke down tonight.

    Good info here--just in case.

How the hell do these bastards get away with stealing the wheels off a car and leaving it on blocks?
