After two months of no driving I finally got my license.
what is this "don't do it on a Manual Trans" bs?..it was at one point like , a right of passage into manhood...
I find it hard to wrap my mind around the fact that the MT has almost died off in 1 generation.
yes...I took my DL test in a Manual car, a fucking huge green beast of a Volvo Station wagon
lol i dont mind it like i said my car is 5speed so im used too it whenever i get into a auto i always look for the clutch too push when i start it hhaha
I just drove my e30 60 miles to milwaukee saturday night, then back sunday morning, and then tuesday I took it 230 miles to charlston il, and I will drive it back sunday. E30 cruising is just so much better than anything else I have driven.

You'll do fine man, my only advice is that unless you were born with your foot on the clutch, don't take the test in a manual trans. All my friends who have done this either failed or hated the pressure of "doing it right" since people have differing driving styles. Took my test in a Toyota Previa haha
i was gonna go do it in a manual trans, im used to it since the e30 is 5 speed and i drive it everyday the only thing im worried about and dont know why is the parallel parking im good at parking but just the pressure i guess lol ima take the e30 to the dmv tonight and practice on the little parallel parking spot there:D
damn that sucks, my dad just says if u get pulled over ur fucked and ur paying for it, 2 days till i get my license unless for some reason i fail the drivers which i doubt i have like 4 years of driving experience lol

Good luck. I haven't driven a manual car, let alone my E30 for 2 months already. I look at it every day and cry a little inside coz I can't take her for a spin. I gotta get off my ass and start working on it

bitch who corrected my test gave me my test back to concur with her that she had done so correctly, she gave me a 102%...don't ask me
I'm 18 but don't have insurance or registration on the e30 yet. Can't even take it around the block cuz my moms so paranoid I'll get pulled over going around the block. Haven't driven it in a month :hitler:
I have to drive to school every day in a boring, gas guzzling camry (93 v6)

Yea but my vacuum leak is starting to just get annoying. I'll drop a gear and punch it and the whole car will loose power and the rpms flutter and flutter until it catches back up and starts powering again. FMS
Dam, that sucks :(
