That's got everything to do with it. Well, that & a proper liner in the block. If it's got an oil filter hanging off of it you should be good to go.

That's what we figured. Seems to be working out in our favor. The engines without a pressurized oil system seem to wear out. Our logsplitter is on engine #2. That either says something about how much wood gets split, or how much better it is to have an oil pump.

depending on what you want it for. I have a 11hp honda belt driven pressure washer for my business it's a $2000.00 machine. I use it everyday in the summertime for 5-10 hours. It's a lot nicer machine than all the junk direct drive ones you see in home depot. I have small electrics also but for anything heavy duty you need a gas engine. Just no matter what you get make sure to use the right angle tip for the application. And if your gonna spend money go honda belt driven with a cat pump.

we also used to have a gas powered briggs pressure washer. it was heavily used and abused by us, was very easy to work on and still lives on im sure with its new owner.

I just have a gas coleman pressure wahser. It can be a pain to start, but once it is running it is great for cleaning weaves and the engine bay.

We have a gas one, I think its a north star? Anywas we have had it for like 17 years and it gets used quite a bit each year

Basically, don't ONLY look at Honda. A Briggs, Kawasaki or Subaru-powered gas unit will do just fine, too and will probably save you a few $$. Just DON'T get a Chinese-built unit. Absolute garbage.

Most of our larger outdoor equipment (chippers, all-terrain mowers, log splitters) (8-25hp) are powered by either Briggs or Kawasaki engines. They seem to hold up very well. Most make it to the 400+ hour mark before needing any servicing (aside from oil changes). Even then it's usually simple, like a lower main seal. All of those engines have real oiling systems (not the splash paddle system), so that probably has something to do with it.

yeah they do make the very best power equipment out there other than chainsaws and similar.

I deal with them on an OEM basis and I am becoming less of a fan every day. Reputation far exceeds reality, IME. Warranty is non-existent as they will not cover anything. Still, I put them on my products because of their reputation. It's similar to trying to talk someone out of buying a Camry.

Yeah, you really can't go wrong with a Honda Gas engine pressure washer. Electric sucks dick, unless you go for like 240, which just gets retarded as far as a practicality stand point.

I have an idea to take a 15-30 gallon up right compressor tank, fill it half way with water, set the turkey deep fryer burner set up and heat that to 50?? psi steam. Feed through 1/2 insulated pressure line to 120 air compressed sprayer head.

This is just theory on the afore mentioned contraption.
