Exactly: use 20% by volume. For a typical E30 325, that means one quart of Lucas HD and fill the rest with regular oil.

Smoking on decel is usually worn valve guides. My 02 does it big time.. goes through a quart every couple hundred miles or so.

I know you hate to see a puff of smoke coming out of your car but trust me,, almost any car on here is going to do that under those circumstances. and dont sell it now. youll just start over again. if you dumped 12k into it there cant be much wrong with it
and you dont have to drain and refill just dump some water wetter in there and close the cap/ your cooling system is going to turn to shit with pure water

For the past 6 months i have run water and i didnt have to refill yet, so thats why i havent added anything to the system but i will do asap before i damage the thing. Should i add a whole bottle of water wetteror just a small amount?

What grade of oil are you using? M20's running in hot environments (like Puerto Rico) like heavy oil weights. Try filling up with a good 20W-50 conventional oil and add 20% Lucas HD Oil Stabilizer.

No need for synthetic oil if you're just burning it away. Personally, I've had great luck with Kendall GT-1. Around here, it's the same price as Castrol GTX but works much better for me.

In my track car, I have a stock (non-rebuilt) M20 with about 170k miles on it. I run Kendall GT-1 plus 20% Lucas HD on the track and the car doesn't burn a drop even when running all day long on a hot track. Plus, my oil temps are lower and my oil pressure is higher than with other brands I've tried...and I've pretty much tried them all by now. The Kendall/Lucas combo really seems to work for high-mileage M20's.

The revs where only to show whats going on, but i dont do that in any situation never. Yeah thats what i figured out oil burning ha! It will eventually get worse, am i right? So the fix is piston rings?

Yeah i know that water alone will corrode the thing but i am too lazy to do a proper coolant fill and have to bleed the hell out of it again, last time it took me like 4 days to do it right, i was just testing with water and it went good so left It like that.

I am tired with this car and im really considering getting rid of it with a huge pain in my heart. Over 12k spent in one year

most likely sucking a bit of oil past the valve guides. when you decelerate like that, the vacuum spikes in the intake side, and pulls oil past the guides.

its burning a little oil. as long as your oil looks good and coolant is stable and clean just drive it. Get something in the coolant though to prevent corrosion. even water wetter or something

Yep that's just about normal. Mine does that too, because I need new piston rings.
You'll know if your headgasket or leaking or if your head is cracked...the smoke is very dramatic and very white.
