    That^ plus this:

Don't replace with the stock when you can upgrade and have a cleaner feel. I personally love my Z4 lever. But that is a bit short for a DD.

Does your gear shift look like this: http://realoem.com/bmw/showparts.do?...27&hg=25&fg=05
If so call up these guys: http://www.uucmotorwerks.com/ and ask for the polly bushings, replacement washers, lever cup bushing, end clips and bitch clip. Tell them it is for an e30 and they will get you set up with a everything you need =)

    Good luck and welcome

Here's what I bought when mine had the same problem. It's a really nice kit that shortens your throw a little but looks and feels OEM.

Spring for the extra bushings and you will be pleased. This job can be a pain in the ass, so check the DIY forums for a nice write-up on how to do it.

    Good luck and welcome aboard!

My friend Steve recommended me to these forums, and luckily I found a member here who is selling interior. I'm pretty excited to get everything installed and make "Zach" looking sexy and amazing. I'll post pics as soon as I can.
