The Head is almost done, ready to be installed

Stefan at engson motor made the track for the steel ring to be seated.

The head is leveled at both sides

    1mm oversize valves from PPF

2 friends of mine came over and helped out with the wg piping

    starting to look good

i welded up the dp with my friends TIG

Helgen då va jag på kjula o hjälpte grabbarna att skruva.. fernis kardan experten.. spelar ingen roll
att stödlagret är borta man kör ändå :D

Blocket är så gott som klart. allt är moment draget och på plats.. små grejer kvar.

    waiting for the head !

if it goes to plan the car should be ready for startup this weekend.

Way to go man, you guys rock. Any reason for putting the throttle body a little ways away from the intake, just packaging?
hehe nice to hear !! thx :)

the throttel body would fit closer but we thought that this might be good.. and adding some volume to the intake :)

    update Time.

Its been quite for som time.. and that have sucked..

All of the stand still has been due to the motor guy has to much to handle on 1 person.
But now it seems that the speed is upp again.

    The new bearing is sanded

    the engine block is flattened

    Drilling the engine block

    Milling for the steal thread

Hening the last of the block

When the head got welded it got a bit twisted

A friend of mine wanted to try a new foil he got home.. so i voluntared :)

Jocke started to lay down the foil

A bunch of friends got over to se the final product

Hopefully im putting togheter the engine block tomorow and this weekend its going in.

in several conversoations with jim at metric mechanic, he talked me out of running a piston with notches because he said there was always a problem with that once you go over 12lbs of boost. not right away but in longevity terms.

just wondering if you have had any similar problems running hight boost with pistons.
the Old pistons i had, had bigger notches and those work well for 3 years with over 30psi of boost

and even when a injector clogged up just the head gasket went.
