Like I said, they are TRX tires. Only one company really makes them. They are rare to see new, unless someone is really a purist and buys them for a concourse car, etc. Otherwise, not worth the money.
Poop on you for wrecking a 745. They are not a common car, especially this side of the pond.
Wanna sell the exhaust mani? ;)Leave a comment:

Hey Pink Troll Man, Is your camera from 1900 or something? All your pics are brokenWell, i guess i have to bow to Brian and whats his name, i found the cars local mechanic, yes, it was a 745, the 745 fell off in the car wash, they had a 535 badge, put it on the car, the owner didn't care, the 745 badge was going to take too long to order. I'm sorry i didn't triple check all the info before i drove it. The tires were new, got at Cokers, $400 each, V rated, they weren't old, i just enjoy seeing Ya" ll try to win, wish we were at the Bar. Complaint Dept. Below

They never made a factory 535i turbo. The did make a factory 745i turbo. Still a 3.5, but the turbo gave it the power of a 4.5, or so BMW said, thus 745.
Every e23 7 I've seen has had German check panels, etc. Yes, if a 745, it would have been grey market, but that is besides the point because they never made a turbo 535 e28 in the '80s and your saying it was. Unless it was an Alpina or something, in which case you need to go shoot yourself. But keep reading, cause it's not.
Also, that is a e23 because the dash is not an e28 dash and the front side marker is not an e28 part. E23s had that.
In short, this is a e23 7, this is NOT a 535i. I don't give a shit what the trunk deck says. It's a 7.
Also, nice job running 150 on TRX wheels and tires! They haven't really mass produced those for like 20 years! Yours were probably dry rotted to hell!
One more thing, if it was a grey market import, it wouldn't have had a cat. That's a N. America market thing.
first BMW was rushing to produce their 4.5L V12 because Mercedes just released their V12, they where having issues getting the car to market so instead added a turbo to the M30 3.5 to compete with Mercedes and their V12 but left the project name 745i. By the time the V12 came to market it was 5.0L and called the 750i.
Second most grey market cars had the exhaust systems modified upon arriving to the states to make them now US legal. My M635CSI was actually a pathetic single exhaust with a cat when I bought it.
Third, I think our new friend learned his lesson about making sure a car is fit to drive at speed and more importantly making sure the driver is fit to drive that speed.Leave a comment:

Scan and post all your documents. So was i dreaming about the turbo, the 535 on the trunk, the registration from the original owner saying $80,000 new, 2 master tec. BMW mechanics fighting over getting the parts and thier confirmation of the car, everything in the car German not English, post and prove me wrong, did you see grey market car, shipped over here, shipping was in the reciets.
Note: They don't count if they're written in all caps.Leave a comment:

Like I said, you don't even know what kind of car you were driving. Lucky Darwin had the day off when you wrecked that thing...Leave a comment:

Let's clarify a few things:
1) What was the point of posting this? Sympathy? Lesson learned? Leather interior bits for sale?
2) That is a E23 745i. Post the VIN and I'll give you proof.
3) How fast were you going??
Thanks.Leave a comment:
