Dead S14 most likely. Rebuilding an S14 is quite expensive.

Haha, I knew some OG would bring this up.

Rear valence is showing red paint under the white, only the tach has a white gauge face AND the MPG gauge. I'd say it's a 325 with M3 fenders, bumpers and c-pillar.

im willing to bet the car was a real M3. considering it has the correct back seat and correct roof line. the guy that built this has no attention to detail as evidenced by the sh*tty rat's nest engine bay. so with those looking correct, it was an M3 that got murdered. what a POS, it would be worth more as a rolling shell.

Looks like a great buy for a non-purist who's considering a swap and who has bodyworking skills. The zero rust, authentic m3 shell and suspension alone makes it a $5k easily. This assumes a clean title. This car isnt stripped.

All you need is an S5x and you're golden. Seriously, non-rep M3 e30s are becoming increasingly had to find. Would be nice for someone to inspect it.

What a travesty. I mean hell a stock S14 makes the same HP as a VANOS M50TUB25 (192HP SAE on both). And I'm not buying the "cost's more to rebuild the S14" argument. Yes S14 components are more expensive on the balence than M50 parts, but that is offset by the fact that the M50 has 6 of everything compared to 4 on the S14. Then to go and hack the swap...

The light at the end of the tunnel is that with a S14 swapped back into it, it would make a good candidate for a track-rat.

How much are you willing to bet me?

It has the extended roof line and trunk. Lets agree on a bet and look up the vin :)
