    It's a nice looking car, but I wouldn't pay $45k for it.

As above, if I had the coin, that ad would be gone, shitty color and all.

I could learn to love anal sex if I had that car.

who knows what else needs to be replaced. if the owner doesnt want to do the above and very relatively simple maintenance compared to the conversion process and try to sell it for $45k. Then who knows what else the owner didnt feel like doing on other maintenance.

very simply, its not worth that price tag.
These minor deficiencies raise some alarm bells for me also. The car may well be worth $45k the way she sits and I have no doubt that it was executed to an above average standard. My guess is the buyer who chooses to pay for this resto mod will enjoy the hell out of it and loose their shirt while doing so.

i think you guys are all cheap ass haters!:D that is a nice well done car! people pay well over 100k for american iron restomods all the time. for all the work that went into this car, the price is very reasonable by this standard. although it is not an "according to hoyle" original m3 vert, it is actually better than one.

why is an m3 cabrio a pointless joke? lots of people including myself, love the lines of e30 m3's and also cabrios as well. ever drove a well performing convertible on the winding scenic mountain roads of northern california? i can assure you there is NOTHING like that feeling(except maybe a threesome with two hot supermodels).

you and others are completely contradicting yourselves with the s14 comments. why in the world would you want a 4 banger in this car anyway? it wouldn't make it more authentic or less "poser" as some say. the s50 is way better for power, torque and driving fun. i think putting an s14 in that car would be stupid. what if it came with an s54? would that add legitimacy in you eyes?

in the end, is it worth 45k? well, perhaps not to me but i believe the car truly has the value for what it is.

Nice car and really well done...but I think $45k is a stretch. Hell even $25k might be on the high side.

    Retro Mod m3 Clone...

    There...

This car is extremely well done. We had the opportunity to supply the suspension, and Ryan G did all of the motor and running gear mods.

    But 45K?...just no.

Wait a few years and the boys with extra cash will start to import these and you will see the price of the fake ones go down the tubes.

this one is about 24k usd

    http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/2836235.htm
The first one is 21,995.00 GB = 35,745.59 USD not including taxes in UK and in the US plus shipping and so on

Second one which has had an engine swap to an S50B32 is 16,000.00 GBP = 25,995.16 USD

So really this car is here in the states very well documented and quite a looker, I don't see any issue with his asking price.

Here is the build thread for the car for those that did not watch it grow.

All you guys saying just purchase an E30 M3 cabrio have you looked on mobile.de lately? There are none listed. They did not make a lot of vert in M3 Variants so I can't see them being all that much cheaper.

that thing is a heartbreaker.. too good to be true.

but all things aside, that cabrio is sweeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeet

...would not buy for 45 grand.

I know a rich dude with money in the market for one would get it though.
If I put that much time, money and work on that, I would definately reach for the stars in regards to pricing.
