you are confusing our desire for something we don't have with something we already have.

case in point. we like the euro e30 because they didn't have half the safety regulations on them so the cars looked better.
the fact is the euro e30s came as BMW intended them to look and run.

as for TGUK, we ALL get that so i don't see the point in a copycat show and from the same people no less.
if it was another unaffiliated network that some what copied the format, that i could see as thats the norm for network tv and has been for ages.

I think top gear us is a good show but repetitive, like our community.

All e30 owners wanna do is the same thing, just like top gear. And all we ever do is try to make our car like the euro counterpart(just like US vs. Euro). We get the headlights and the fillers as well as bumpers(just like TPUS takes the running into each other and ditching one another FROM uk) and try to make it original. Maybe you guys philosophy on your cars should reflect your philosophy on shows, because you guys are trying too hard to make your car something it wasnt designed to be. Deep down the e30 is just a e30 and topgear is just topgear. In retrospect its a great show thats entertaining so you guys should just lighten up and actually enjoy a show, as you do your car.
