    Just sayin.

The dog that is my avatar, is the woman's ESA.

fuck, somethings make me happy I no longer live in the land of idiots anymore!!! what the hell is the world (U.S.) turning into?

BTW, I love my dog, but I wouldn't let a damn dog from someone else tear up my place

    Yeah.
I'm not out to argue anything. There are ways to combat ways to counteract ways blah blah blah. It's just that they can't evict someone for having a dog that's protected by the ADA.
    insert other other stuff here.
    blasay blasay yada.
    poop-n-crap-shit.

It was just a possibility/avenue to look into for the OP and his girl. 'Tis all

While that is true, there are tons of ways land lord's can get around it. Likkkkke simply saying "sorry, some else offered more money" or some other lame excuse. Basically, if they don't want a dog in there, they aren't going to allow one either way. And starting off a lease by threatening a land lord isn't advice I would offer.

I have to say. the whole ESA thing is something that can and is abused. But any dog owner will tell you that your dog greatly helps out stress, anxiety, and depression. It's a legitimate thing.

Albeit, too easy to get. Any girl can cry PTSD from being called a bitch, and get their psychiatrist to recommend an ESA because they got paid to.

But for legit cases such as rape, abuse, war, etc victims male or female. Having a dog can be a very, VERY good thing. It has proven itself in my household, amongst many tests and lots of research.

However, it's not limited to dogs. nearly any animal can be an ESA. There are stories of airlines being required to make accommodations for horses to travel on the planes, WITH the person.

That though, is just plain ridiculous/insanity/fucking stupid.

Look around Alameda. It's a nice place to live, pretty affordable in parts.
