As incredible as it may seem, my good friend made it out alive.

He managed to leave the scene with a broken foot, broken ankle, some scrapes and bruises. Not much considering...

He slid off the road and hit two trees.

    Built IS300 went from this...

    To this

All six sides of the car was hit and the car landed in a cemetery (luckily no disturbance of any tombstones). Never went horsepower crazy since.

Well i might as well add to this. No pics though, ill try to get some, nothing big thank god.

Had the E30 for a month, the rear tires were shot..driving to the store in the rain im going on an on-ramp at a normal pace (evidently not normal enough for crap tires) the rear end kicked out, i immediately took my foot off the gas thinking the rear would catch itself...not the case, so than i went on the brakes...smacked the side of a concrete barrier and spun around 180.

    Thank god for diving boards!

Fender got smacked a bit on the front corner, bumper was totally bent, and hood got a slight kink on the corner. New fender and bumper and a little bending back of the inner fender and she was good as new.

If i had plastic bumpers id imagine it wouldve been a lot worse, so i tucked the new metal ones and im gonna keep em!

^I'll agree it brings up those post wreck feelings a bit but for some people it's better to tell the story of what happened. It helped me a bit honestly, especially if someone was hurt and you were at fault...(me).

I was giving a friend of my soon to be first girlfriend a ride, and was just describing some of the things I liked about my car (it was my first car, a 1988 Honda CRX Si I bought from my dad) including the great handling... when the crazy bitch decides it would be hilarious to suddenly yank on my steering wheel. The car instantly lost traction just as we were headed around a long sweeping corner, and I did what I could to avoid a hydro pole and put us sideways into a huge ditch. I managed to save our lives and most of the car, but the damage it sustained combined with the rust it had led me to give it to a family friend who later fixed it up and drove it for years.

I was charged with careless driving after I stupidly didn't tell the whole story of what happened at the scene fearing she'd get into serious trouble, but she later confessed to it so the charges were dropped.

That car is probably still on the road somewhere if it hasn't completely rusted into oblivion... and that crazy bitch is probably still just as crazy. :x

My second accident involved black ice, incredibly bad luck and loss of life. That one's not for sharing - suffice to say if I had done anything stupid to cause it I would never have gotten over it. :(

    This thread sucks!

yeah the black tiburon was my first new car and my second overall. Not even a couple of month later...well pictures show it. I feel like a jackass everytime I see those but I still feel lucky for what I walked out of unscratched and unbruised.

damn I'm glad everyone made it out of your accidents alive and more knowledgeable. For all those who weren't so lucky, you'll be missed.

Surprised I didn't see this thread earlier.

My first E30, about 3 weeks after swapping out the M20B27 for a B25, was out driving like an asshole and lost the rear end around a blind corner on a wet spot after a rain, and put it head-on at about 55 mph into the driver's side corner of an '89 Accord with a 16 year old girl behind the wheel.

My seat belt didn't lock, and I hit the steering wheel chest-first, and fractured my sternum and almost broke my collar bone when the seat belt ran out of slack. Her legs got jammed up under the dash and they had to cut her out, but she was fine. I lost my license for a year and the girl's parents sued me for almost $6k. Paramedics on the scene said I was lucky to be alive.

I think this is my favorite pic, that's the front bumper shock, punctured THROUGH the frame rail.
