I've owned a bunch... 200 Turbo Quattro Avant 10V, 20V, 90 20V Quattro, and UrS4. The 20V 5 cylinder turbo is one of the all time great motors.

The S4 v8 is a ballbag to work on too. no room under there. I had to do drive belts on an (02-04??) S4 cabrio recently and the only way to get to the belts is to remove the front rad support.. or maybe slide it out but i didnt see any "service mode" setup like the Mini cooper has or my old B5 passat had.

1.8t isnt a hard engine to work on. its the 2.7 that isnt real fun. luckly my entire front end pulls out in "service mode" and aside from turbos pretty much everything can be handled.

I daily a beater B5 Avant. Actually love it for trashing around town hauling parts, and it even has a killer factory stereo setup. I'm just scared of fixing things when they break :(

in that case it is definitely not mine. Eitherway, they have tons of potential but are expensive as Fawk and a pain to work on when anything goes wrong.

I did sell my car, it could very well be my old one. Does it have a white suede and black leather interior with touch screen navi? He may have meant Rs6 turbos, thats what mine were out of. K04s came out of the B5 RS4, but are still quite fast. My old car pulled hard on K04'd car haha. It was a monster indeed, 29 lb of boost spike and held 27lbs. When i was in limp mode at 13lbs a brand new carrera 4s couldn't pull an inch on me and it drove the guy nuts haha. Good times.
