Both of my E36s have 149k miles and rock solid interiors. My friend has 250k on his car, rock solid interior. Somebody must not have taken care of yours at some point.
Also, when's the last time you've seen an E36 with a cracked dashboard?

I have an e36 that has had almost every problem that's ever been documented in the e36 chassis. If I could punt my e36 to the moon it wouldn't be far enough.

Dude we talked at length how BMW designed this car. It was the first computer generated designed car for them and also during the Green Party's control in Germany so the car was meant to be recycled in ten years give or take a few.
They have many down falls but would you want a 760iL off warranty or your still easily fixable old car.
