the plastic bumper surrounds on cabrios from 88 onward were painted the body color. that is factory. those wheels look exactly like the ronals i used to have. i am pretty sure they were silver centers with polished lips?

get rid of the chrome wheel arches before they develop rust under them. they look dumb by today's standards anyway. the car has a few mods. the early is lip didn't come from the factory on this car but it looks really good anyway. looks like a wood steering wheel too.

also, someone could have fried the dme by unplugging and plugging in engine components while it was running. something else to check. good luck with it. how is the interior?
