You can still get the same info by making a free eBay local classified ad for your car.

Thanks this one worked for me.
I found out my 1989 325 only traveled 6400 miles it's first 10 years of life!
    Also, 5 owners over it's 98k miles.

both my cars have clean history but there is an incorrect mileage reported (during my ownership too), dunno how that happened.
I tried to use this site.
But all I get is, it says I own an BMW, and from Germany.
    It then says:

    Warning!

The Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) you submitted resulted in an error message:
The VIN contains an invalid year for the make and model.

    But the VIN is correct....?

I just used the dealersuite link

Confirmed what I already knew. Car lived its life in NorCal, only to get some SoCal exposure before returning to NorCal in a couples months lol.

Scary seeing the failed smog emissions stuff though, cause my car is due soon to get it registered and insured... Any tips to get the engine running at its best to pass..? I was told I have a new-ish OEM catalytic converter and that I should have no problem..

Much Thanks for the tip, OP. I missed out on the Moon Honda party.

History turned out to be good on a car that looked like it might have been otherwise when I bought it. 3rd owner, no crashes, ODO is correct at 156K

That one does work. The part that sucks about it is that it doesn't recognize the difference between miles and Km. My cars odometer is Km, and its reported on the carfax as miles. There is a big difference between 122K km and 122K miles.

    Will

This will always work so long as you have an ebay account.

Looks like the autocheck party is over, moon honda shut it down. And the url format has changed a bit. Anyone still doing this successfully?
