Would love to go if I was closer, you must be a great mom if you raised a son like him.

    Thank You!

Hello everyone. I'm Jon's mom. I just stumbled into this site and saw what you guys posted here about my son and saw some amazing photos about his activities. I just joined the site to let you all know how much I appreciate all the warm thoughts and also to let you know in case you are not linked to his facebook, where I have posted all info and activities about him, that I am hosting a 49th-day service for him on July 22, 2012.

Also, I would like to get a copy of the slideshow and other photos posted here on site for sentimental reasons, please email them to me at calmom42@yahoo.com if you would.

The info for his service is listed below. Food and beverages will be served; to get an idea of headcount for food and beverage preparation, please email your RSVP to e30cabrio@gmail.com.

    Jon's 49th-day Service
    Date: July 22, 2011
    Time: 12pm - 4pm
    Location: Westminister Park, Westinister, California
The corner of Magnolia and Hazard

Again, thank you all for being such good friends to my boys.

    Jon's Mom

I just stumbled upon this thread... I met Jon at Bimmerfest many moons ago... We were the only guys with modded white m-tech cabby's at the time so we joked about that and had a good laugh. Great guy and he will be missed. Obviously loved by his E30 brothern, godspeed on your continued journey my friend.

Wow this is really shocking!! Jon you will be missed but not forgetten. Rip.

I met Jon years ago when he was working with Driftspeed and came up to
norcal for a formula D event. And Let me tell you how cool this guy is. I jokely ask him if i can sit inside their competing formula d S15. Keep mind the S15 is my fucking dream car and I literally just met Jon for like 10mins. He looks over smiles and goes "yeah go for, just dont touch anything". We both laugh and i thought he was joking too. But he wasnt. I jumped in and instantly a crowd started gathering. Definitely one most memorable moments in my life.

Thank you Jon for that and rest in peace man.

Heard this as a rumor originally.

Breaks my heart to hear when someone so young with so many friends in the community passes.

My condolences to his family and close friends.

RIP. I've been lurking for over a year now, he seemed like a great guy that knew a lot.

I was looking through some boxes last weekend and came across an envelope from Jon with some decals that I ordered from him a few years ago. Life is short and it sounds like Jon made the most out of his very short time on this earth.

    Rest in Peace brother.
