I had the same thing happen in apartments. Found the guy parking his car at the end of the apartments and walking everysingle time. I confronted him with a note and it took a week for him to come forth after I filed a police report.

seriously. we'll see how the paint comes out when i get back from arizona. i'm leaving the car at the shop over the weekend to be ready tuesday or weds.

a lot of my friends are telling me i should have just accepted cash instead of paint (because i can get it done for cheaper), but he offered to cover other stuff too, so i'm not going to take advantage of the situation like that. the idea is to get back to square one anyway, right?

This is great. Guy was cool about it, etc. Not everyday you hear stories like this.

Glad it's all working out man!

basically that i was disappointed and asked him to do the right thing. i was polite about it and now he's covering any other dings and dents i have on his dime. even a small rust spot behind my rear bumper.

he's taking care of a couple other blemishes around the body too, so i'm just going to have his shop take care of it and be happy. not trying to gouge.
