:stupid:Motion to change the name of this thread to "Go-To Glossary for pissing off people with too much to complain about."
Yes, I get it, some stupid car words are annoying. However, this thread has now come to encompass pretty much the ENTIRE spectrum of words used to describe car culture, parts, and activities. Some of you guys are some serious fucking whiners.
Judging thus far, it appears that we are only to describe car parts and activities using ONLY their proper literal and technical terms.Leave a comment:

Yep. I just always assumed that "Slicktop" was a term for an e30 without a sun or moon roof, and never thought more about it.It is just a sedan or coupe without a sunroof. It was most common on use cars for them to be sold equiped with a sunroof OPTION. It was still an option though.
If a convertable is a "rag top", then any steel roofed car would be a "slick top" reguardless of if it had a sunroof or not as they are made of steel or in rare cases glass. You could make any exception to the rule for older cars that came with a canvas or vinyl sunday roof, but they are referred to as a rag top sunroof car.
Does that make sense to you??????Leave a comment:
