Does r3v do burnouts?

I have done a few in the vert. Usually after leaving the bar and feeling rather good. That was way back in the day when I was stupidly reckless. I just ramped the RPM's and did a clutch dump. Was not fond of the first few little hops of the rear tires before I got those bitches spinning. Plus I did not want to drop any portion of my driveline and have the po-po roll up to lend a "helping" (yeah right) hand.

No burnouts for quite some time for me. Its kinda counterproductive if one is spending hard earned cash to beautify their ride. When and (if) I go turbo I will surely exploit the new found ponies.

I would totally do burnouts all the time, but my E30 just doesnt seem to have what it takes to break the tires loose, no matter how hard I try.

I do it occasionally when its not going to cause any harm to me, my car or people around me.
But i do work at michelin now, So i get free BFGoodrich/Michelin tires. That makes it harder to not want to lol....

After replacing my driveshaft I've decided not to do many burnouts anymore. This is the extent of the wheelspin you'll get from me at this point.

That's basically exactly as harmful to your driveline as a first gear brakestand. The initial clutch dump is really the greatest shock.

Nope. I leave the burnouts for the E36 guys.

Seen a few E36 M3's with the rear strut towers TORN apart! They (BMW) sells the portion of the top of the strut tower for that application!

So burnouts will tear the strut towers huh? Interesting...

Hell yes I do burnouts. Turbos make them extra fun!

Eventually I'll try one but I don't get the point of making it a regular thing.
